Rector of BelSu, doctor of political science, prof. Oleg Polukhin greeted the participants of the festival. He marked the importance of the festival for the region in the whole.
«It’s no coincidence that the first festival of science is held in Belgorod National Research University, because there are words “national research” in the name of our university. That’s why researches should unite in BelSu to make new scientific discoveries» - said the rector.
The regional festival of science took place in Belgorod for the first time. During three days of the festival students of higher, secondary and general educational institutions in Belgorod participated in scientific-educational trainings, master classes, visited scientific exhibitions. Debates, round-table discussions and popular science lections, given by professors from leading regional and Russian universities, were held in the course of the festival.
