Alexander Avdeev, the Deputy Dean for Research and International Activities in Psychology Department of BelSU, attended Mohawk College (Utica, USA) of the New York University for a visit within the framework of the Program of International Cooperation Development between NRU BSU and the world's leading educational centers.
During the visit, Avdeev had talks with the college government majors: The President of the college, Dr. Randall J. VanWagoner, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Merirouz Innas, the Director of the Center of International Education, Dr. Sandra Angell, the Dean of the Centre for Liberal Arts, Dr. Terry Shvoner, and the representatives of the ESL Centre Alison Doughty and Todd Marshall.
They exchanged views on the issues on cooperation in education, science, and students and teachers' academic mobility.
Dr. Terry Shvoner said: "We will be grateful for the joint carrying of scientific researches in the fields of social and clinical psychology."
The parties discussed a proposal to organize a web conference between our University and the College devoted to advanced topics of the modern psychological science, and agreed on a return visit of the Mohawk College and ESL Center representatives to Belgorod State National Research University.
