BelSU scientists made an aggregated list of manuscripts and correspondence of Rusian XIXth century polymath, correspondent member of the Russian Academy of Science, Belgorod’s native Nikolai Strakhov.
Specialists from BelSU Social-theology department together with their colleagues from the largest St. Petersburg’s archives made a complete catalogue of N. Strakhov’s unique documents. Staff of National Library of Russia gifted digital copies of Strakhov’s books’ front pages with autographs to BelSU. The Strakhov’s heritage is studied by the scientists of Russia, Canada, China and other countries. Since 1996 BelSU has been held International Strakhov Readings. The first library-museum of Strakhov in Russia was opened in BelSU in 2009. It’s digital archive was completed with the aid of Presidential grant.
