Vladimir Kulikovskiy – surgeon, teacher, headmaster

Doctor of Medical Science, Corresponding member of Russian Academy of Natural History, Prof. Vladimir Kulikovskiy is one of the best practicing surgeons, author of 320 research papers, 22 study guides, 13 monographs, more than 30 patents and certificates of authorship. Under his supervision 11 candidate’s and 5 PhD defenses were passed. In 2002 Prof. Kulikovskiy was appointed to a position of medical director of Belgorod Regional St. Ioasaf clinical hospital. Under his guidance (2002-2013), the hospital became a European-level clinic. Since June 2013 V. Kulikovskiy has become a headmaster of BelSU Medical Institute – a large scientifical and educational center with about 10 000 students. About 400 specialists with higher education and 500 specialists with secondary education graduates from the Institute annually. 319 members of academic staff work at the Institute. 70% of them have a degree; among them are 4 members of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
