The principal of BelSU Oleg Polukhin and the director of Institute of Environmental Technology of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology Assoc. Prof. Nguen Hoai Chau signed an additional cooperation agreement.

BelSU and Institute of Environmental Technology of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (IET VAST) have been partners for many years. BelSU scientists developed a method of sorbents production from clay and untraditional materials such as coffee peel for their Vietnamese colleagues. A new agreement provides an enhancing of cooperation in this direction.
BelSU principal Oleg Polukhin greeted the partner and all participants. “Today we have good reasons for looking into the future with optimism. There are common projects, plans and scientific papers, and now we can speak of new horizons of our further cooperation”, – said the principal.
In exchange, director of IET VAST Assoc. Prof. Nguen Hoai Chau thanked the principal and all scientists who helped with the work on common projects.
Valeriy Tohtar, director of BelSU Botanical Garden told about two directions of cooperation. These are environment protection projects and regulation of soil’s fertility status. In conclusion of a meeting, Oleg Polukhin and Nguen Hoai Chau signed an additional agreement of academic cooperation between Belgorod State University and Institute of Environmental Technology of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology
