In search of values of Christian Civilization

Professor of BelSU Administrative and International Law Subdepartment Elena Safronova represented the university at International Forum of Orthodox Christian Scientists, which has taken place in the end of September in Thessaloniki (Greece)

The Forum’s opening ceremony was conducted by Anphym, the Metropolitan of Thessaloniki, and Consul-General of the Russian Federation in Thessaloniki Aleksandr Popov.

”The participants of the conference, representatives of various scientific communities, spoke about alarming trends of modern world’s development: global revolution in spiritual culture, aiming at the changing of human nature, theomachy and sequential dechrisitianization”, – said Elena Safronova.

More than 10 reports were presented at the conference. Elena Safronova presented the plenary report “War against values of Christian Civilization: International and Law aspects”

As a result of the IV international conference “Orthodox Christian Scientist in modern world”, the declaration about solidary concern of world’s alarming trends was carried and addressed to hierarchs of orthodox churches and heads of the Orthodox Civilization states.
