Engineering competition

Russian engineering competition "Nano" is the first Russian engineering competition in the field of nanotechnology for the students, which is held within the framework of the All-Russian Engineering Competition (VIC) with the support of the network of nanocenters and technology partner companies "Ruskhimbio" and "Prepreg-SKM." Here the best developers in the field of photovoltaics, 3D-printing, thin-film technologies, flexible electronics, production of composites and other technology areas is at competition. Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in engineering and science majors can become competitors. To become a participant in the contest, you must fill out an application, solve one of the tusks or submit your project to the jury on http://www.viknano.ru/ website until 20 October.

Final competition will be held in Moscow in November, in the form of full-time appearances in front of the jury composed of nanotechnological executives and managers of partner companies.

For the winners of the competition a three-day tour of Technology in one of Europe's largest research and innovation center IMEC will be organized with a visit to the laboratories and clean rooms. There are also meetings with experts and members of the European startups innovation cluster of Leuven (Belgium), as well as a tour of the campus of the oldest University in Belgium KU Leuven. Winners of VIK.Nano 2016 will also take part in the final VIC event, which will be held in late November in the Saint Petersburg State Polytechnic University and will receive prizes.
