The second visit of students of Institute of engineering technologies and natural sciences of BelSU to Hanze University of applied sciences (Netherlands) has finished
Biennial cooperation in a new format – in the form of the initiative scientific projects, which are carried out with participation of the Dutch and Russian students has confirmed its efficiency.
This year the international teams worked in four directions: on allocation of anthocyanin from vegetable objects and to their practical use, on problems of biogas recieving, in the field of synthesis of the organic compounds with biological activity and on studying of stem cells behavior during the contact with various surfaces. The delegation of five teachers, the graduate student and 6 students spent 5 days in laboratories and at the enterprises of Netherlands.
The graduate student Yaroslava Kulchenko became the first graduate student of BelSU working under the double supervision of Russian and Dutch professors. Together with students chemists of Hanze University and BelSU, the first pilot batch of lipstick with the anthocyanin allocated from red tulips was received. Work was carried out under the supervision of professor Rob van Haren and Y. Kulchenko.
The joint group of Dutch and Russian chemists and alimentary technologists began to work in Groningen on interesting project with anthocyanin involved in technology of release of proteins from a wastage of potatoes by production of Amylum. Work on this project will be continued.
Mutual interest was payed for the project on receiving biogas from a wastage of agro-industrial complex. Students began researches of the consortium of microorganisms, which is carrying out this process. For experiments, modern methods of the analysis of DNA were used.
One more design group worked on synthesis of the organic compounds having biological activity. At Hanze university students own a technique of "synthesis in a stream" so there was an opportunity to compare results of classical and modern approaches.
