Results of an enrollment campaign of 2017 were discussed by the Academic Council

The responsible secretary of the enrollment committee of BelSU Alexander Galtsev told about results of an enrollment campaign at the university in 2017 and tasks for 2018 members of the academic council were told by.

He has noted that this year 6547 people were enrolled, which surpassed last year numbers. According to Alexander Galtsev, enrollment of entrants from the neighboring and remote regions increases every year.

Members of the academic council found enrollment campaign satisfactory and have discussed strategic tasks for 2018-2019 academic year, having noted need of change of an order of the organization of target reception, increase in a share of students from the CIS countries, etc.

“We have coped with all tasks set this year. We have exceeded the level of enrollment in six and a half thousand. Every year the percent arriving to us from the Belgorod region grows in the university. It is a quite good result”, – the rector of BelSU, Professor Oleg Polukhin has noted, summing up the discussion.

Throughout a subject the conversation on the organization of target reception and target training in NIU "BELGU" has taken place.

Making the report on this subject, the vice rector for study and informatization Alexander Mamatov has reported that the university should develop this direction in cooperation with employers.
