Photo project of Federal significance at BelSU

Opening of the photo exhibition " The heroes of Russia as nobody has seen them before " of “Pamyat Pokoleniy” charity foundation was preceded by a press conference in which the rector of the Belgorod State University, professor Oleg Polukhin, the chairman of Interregional interindustry labor union Pravda Sergey Fuglayev, the executive director of “Pamyat pokoleniy” foundation Ekaterina Kruglova participated along with heroes of modern Russia, residents of Belgorod – the senior engineer-sapper of technical group of OMON, cavalier of an award of Courage Vadim Serykh and the cynologist, cavalier of an award of Courage, an order "For Merit to the Fatherland" 2nd Class Igor Brudkov.

The rector of BelSU, professor Oleg Polukhin have emphasized the importance of such projects which get a response in the hearts of people, youths in particular.

“This is the project about heroes of our time who live among us, but whom we, unfortunately, know a little. It is very important for or me as the rector that students get to know heroes of Russia, - Oleg Polukhin said. – With great pleasure we reopen this remarkable photoproject of “Pamyat Pokoleniy” charity foundation today. And I am sure that our cooperation will continue”.

The ceremonial opening of a photo exhibition was held at the BelSU Youth Cultural Center. On-stage performance groups of the youth cultural center have prepared the concert program. Combat veterans, students, teachers, representatives of administration, veterans of the university and other guests of honor participated in the event.
