The mayor of Belgorod awarded students of BelSU

The mayor of Belgorod Konstantin Polezhayev handed scholarship certificates to 50 best representatives of a youth ecological groups. Among them are students of the Belgorod State University: Darya Morozova, Yulia Zhuyko, Denis Holodov, Alexander Filchakov and Anastasia Vorobyova.

Students responded and awarded the mayor with "The clean city" cup. Konstantin Polezhayev has noted that he is ready to support any ecological initiatives of youth.

In a Year of ecology youth ecological groups have carried out such events as "Save a tree!", "The clean city for a holiday", "The road to an obelisk", "Days of protection against ecological danger" and many others. Volunteers utilized 60 cubic meters of MSW, have put in order of 106 hectares of park zones and natural objects, have collected more than 50 tons of waste paper and also have planted 5 thousand young trees in the residential district "Southwest".
