The student of BelSU became the silver prize-winner at the championship of Russia

At the most prestigious competition five athletes from Belgorod region, including the third year student of BelSU Pedagogical Institute Physical education department Nikita Merker who has shown the best result among residents of Belgorod. Nikita won a silver medal in the left hand fight in weight category to 65 kg.

This result will allow the athlete who trains under the leadership of the teacher of sports disciplines department Mikhail Filatov and the dean of Physical Education department Igor Nikulin, to be the main part of junior Russian national team for participation in the European and the world championships which will take place in Bulgaria and Turkey.
