BelSU – on "the Ski track of Russia-2018"

On the route "Olympia" the XXXVI open All-Russian mass ski race "the Ski track of Russia" was held. Famous athletes and representatives of the trade-union, public and sports organizations have participated in the opening ceremony. Team of BelSU became, one of the most numerous, more than hundred participants represented the university.

For fans of skiing, warm-up exercises were shown by the world champion in kickboxing, the student of BelSU Institute of Law Anna Samygina. The beginning athletes and fans of winter sports have participated in competitions along with professionals. They competed at 1, 5 and 10 km distances.

Five representatives of BelSU have ascended to the podium this day.

In women's ranking:

1 place – Anastasia Zhmenya;

2 place – Oksana Shatalova;

In men's ranking:

2 place – Artyom Maltsev;

3 place – Alexey Koshmar.

Athletes are students of BelSU physical culture department and train under the leadership of the senior teacher of sports disciplines subdepartment Mikhail Nikitin. The participants who have taken the I-III places at all distances were awarded with medals, diplomas and memorable prizes of the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation.
