Preserving memory of heroes of the Motherland

This society has been founded in 2012 at the initiative of the President Vladimir Putin for promoting of country’s fighting glory, preservation of monuments to heroes of the Motherland. Its divisions were created in more than seventy subjects of Russia.

One of the most active is the Belgorod regional office. The project on creation of the electronic database of graves of soldiers who have died in the Kursk fight in the territory of the Belgorod region is implemented. The society has also helped in opening of the Armor museum in Prokhorovka and also the updated exposition of House museum of the general Nikolay Vatutin.
