BSNRU Athlete Wins Gold Medal at the Russian Arm-Wrestling Championship

The Russian Arm-Wrestling Championship was hosted in Protvino, a town in the Moscow Region. According to those in the know, this is one of the most complex and prestigious competitions in this discipline held in Russia.

Elizabeta Reshetnik, a Masters student from the Pedagogical Institutes Faculty of Physical Culture, won gold in the Womens Left-Hand 50kg Weight Category and won a silver medal in the Right-Hand Category and in the Combined Biathlon. Ms Reshetnik joins the National Team and will represent Russia at the European Championships in Bulgaria and the World Championships in Turkey. Our last success at this level was five years ago was achieved by BSNRUs Timur Mammadov, who is a member of the Alumni Association.
