Representatives from the BNRU 'Technopark' business project went to Moscow to discuss the creation of of a Russian-Uzbek Youth Business Incubator.
A delegation from the Uzbekistan Youth Union (USM) visited Moscow from 26th to 30th April, where they met with counterparts from the Russian Youth Union (RSM). The meeting involved, among others, Kamoliddin Beknazarov, the Deputy Chairman of the USM Council, Pavel Krasnorutsky, President of the RSM, Tatyana Seliverstova, the RSM's Deputy Chairman, and Alexei Yezhov, who is the Director of the RSM's International program. Professor Andrei Peresypkin, the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Affairs, and Dr Margarita Varfolomeyeva, the Deputy Director for Cultural and Educational Affairs, were there to represent Technopark, which will be the venue for the 'Business Incubator'.
The meeting was mainly concerned with the staging the 3rd Russian-Uzbek Youth Forum, and the launching of the Russian-Uzbek Youth Business Incubator. Details pertaining to the Business Incubator were ironed out. The plan is to take 20 people aged between 18 and 35 years from each country, and have three different types of business represented. The first half of the program will take place in BNRU's Technopark, and will involve 14 days of intensive study, hands-on training at local businesses and lectures from recognised specialists from local enterprises. Successful completion of this stage will result in a Certificate for Professional Development. The second part involves a similar program in Tashkent.
The main aim for the project is to establish business ties and to build long-term relationships that will help to ensure closer cooperation in the future. The project will start in October 2018.
