Pipped at the Post

BNRU's Men's Volleyball Team were beaten in the final of the 6^th National Student Summer Games by a team from the Volga State Academy of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism

Larissa Zhilina's team had beaten all opposition on their way to the final, as had their opponents from Tartarstan. In a tense and hard-fought encounter, it was the favourites who came out on top.

Third place went to the Moscow State Academy of Physical Education. The event was held at BNRU's Svetlana Khorkina Sport Centre.
