Studying foreign languages at Language Summer School

The event was attended by representatives of the university administration, as well as teachers and students who will study foreign languages. With a welcoming speech in English, the pro-rector on educational activities of BNRU Alexander Mamatov addressed the students.

“Dear colleagues and students, today is a wonderful day! I wish you a good time - not only to improve your language skills, but also to make new friends. I am sure that your decision to take part in the language summer school is a wonderful idea”.

Teacher of the highest category of the language school ‘Interlingua’ Valentin Doborovich said that the day before the world said goodbye to an outstanding event – the World Cup, which brought together hundreds of millions of people around the globe.

“It's always sad to say goodbye, but for us the holiday does not end - today we are starting a new festival: the festival of foreign languages. This unique event also unites many people from all over the world, people of different cultures and nationalities”.

The teacher from Great Britain Ian Turner assured the students that they will not be bored, since the language summer school is all fun and education.

According to the director of the Center for Foreign Language Education and Academic Letter Larisa Tsurikova, two summer shifts are planned for this year - from July 16 to July 30 - the languages ​​spoken: English, German, Spanish; and from July 30 to August 13: English, French (for the first time in school), Russian as a foreign language.

NB: This year teachers of BNRU, as well as teachers - native speakers will work at the school: Valentin Doborovich (Russia / Great Britain); Ian Patrick Turner (Great Britain); Omar Contreras (Peru); Niels Bickenbach (Germany), Paul Ngatejo (Congo). A team of volunteers will participate in the school's work - students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​of the Pedagogical Institute, students of the translation department from among the former participants of the project.
