More than 70 chess players became winners and prizewinners of the 8th ‘Cup of Belogorie’

Dean of the Pedagogical Institute Physical Culture Department Igor Nikulin on behalf of the rector of the Belgorod State University, Professor Oleg Polukhin congratulated all participants on the end of the competition, noting that the university pays great attention to the development of intellectual sports and, of course, chess. Together with the main judge of the competitions Alexander Ivanov, Igor Nikulin awarded the winners and prizewinners of the ‘B’ and ‘F’ category tournaments in speed chess.

Head of Physical Culture and Sports Department of the Belgorod Region Oleg Serdyukov thanked the rector of BNRU Oleg Polukhin for help in holding such a significant event for the region. He awarded participants of children's tournaments.

According to the chief judge of the competition Alexander Ivanov, the award was awarded in five nominations among men and women (among veterans, persons with visual disabilities). All of them received medals, prizes, diplomas. The winners recieved cups from the federation of adaptive sports.

At the end of the awarding ceremony Alexander Ivanov thanked all the organizers of the competition for their help in organizing and holding the cup and wished everyone success.
