World Championship Medal for BNRU Student

Angelica Bashmina, from the Pedagogical Institute's Department of Pre-school, Primary and Special Needs Education, won a brilliant silver medal at the World Arm Wrestling Championship for the Visually Impaired

Ms Bashmina was accompanied the Championships in Antalya in Turkey by Coaches Dr Mikhail Filatov and Dr Elizaveta Reshetnik, themselves no strangers to high sporting achievement. She beat all but Ukrainian Lyudmila Demenko with her left and right hands, taking home a silver medal to add to her 2018 National Championship for the Visually Impaired Gold Medal, and her 2018 National Student Gold. This was a worthy reward for 4 years of hard work at BNRU.
