BNRU Law Lecturer Is Given a Just Prize

The journal, published by the 'Lawyer' publishing house, ran the competition from 1^st January to 1^st September, and received a large number of scientific works from academics and practising legal professionals across the country. Professor Turanin's article was called 'Problems with the Quality of Decisions Made by Rural Assemblies (Based on Examples of Rural Settlements in Belgorod Region)' and it won him the top prize in the 'University Teachers' category. The Professor is Head of the Law Institute's Department for the Theory and History of the State and its Law. His article identified problem areas in rural governance, and set out possible solutions, such as the provision of template legal documents, and ratifiable central legal decisions.

The good Professor won an annual subscription to the 'Lawyer' journal of his choice, a certificate, and free publication for his paper.
