Academic Cooperation Plans Announced

Professor Oleg Polukhin, Rector of Belgorod State University, led a team to Moscow to hammer out the details of an agreement with the National University of Science and Technology MISiS, led by their Rector, Professor Alevtina Chernikova

The meeting saw the teams discuss cooperation in Mining in particular, as our University has a lot to offer in this respect, due to our location. The idea is to pool resources and apply for grants together, and share our links to industry. The plan includes locating the main Faculty office at our University.

Once negotiations were completed, our team toured MISiS and had a good look at the 'Kinetics' Centre for Rapid High Complexity Industrial Prototyping, a state-of-the-art laboratory.
