Scholarship Award

Belgorod State University student Andrei Serdyuk has become one of 117 students nationwide, to receive a scholarship from Rosgosstrakh, Russia's oldest insurance company

Rosgosstrakh, the second largest insurer in the country, awards scholarships annually to the children of its 60,000 or so employees. There are three recipients currently studying at Belgorod State University, of whom Mr Serdyuk is the most recent. He explained the significance of the award, saying,

“The scholarship is a milestone in my personal development. The award will help me publish research papers and allow me to participate in academic competitions, some of which are sponsored by Rosgosstrakh. After graduation, I plan to go into insurance and join this company. It's a family thing, my grandfather worked there too.”
