Staff from Belgorod State University's Department for International Cooperation, and the Centre for Foundational Training have conducted more than 500 interviews with Tajik candidates hoping to begin study with us next year
Interviews were face to face where possible, but also conducted via Skype for the 100 candidates too far from Dushanbe, where our colleagues were based at the Russian Centre for Science and Culture. Exams were hosted by the Russo-Tajik Slavonic University. Candidates were applying to study in Arts & Humanities, Sciences, and Medicine, and many of them already qualify for Russian Citizenship as part of the Russian diaspora. They applied through the www.russia.study website.
Our staff also took time to visit local schools, some of which teach to Russian Federal standards, where they promoted the University and explained the admissions process.
