Teaching in Italy

The Professor was visiting to give a series of lectures on the theme of 'Originality, Traditions, and Modernity in Russian Journalism' as part of our partnership program. The students asked many pertinent questions of Professor Polonsky, mostly around contemporary themes in Russian media and politics. He also spoke to them about our University, and more specifically, the Masters program available to Italian students.

Then it was on to the Marie Curie State Scientific-Classical-Linguistic High School in Meda to give a talk to the students on the subject of 'Runet', the Russian-speaker's internet. The Professor's insights and analysis of the internet specific language there, were highly appreciated by the young audience.
