Our Champion Arm Wrestlers

120 students from over 40 universities across 22 regions of the Federation took part. Our team beat Chuvash State University, and Orel State University, to take victory. Anatoly Zaporozhsky (70 kg), Nikita Merker (75 kg), Mikhail Vasilyev (85 kg), Mikhail Kudryashov (90 kg), David Shamei (110 kg) and Sergei Nikulin (110 kg+), all took golds in their categories. In the Women's event Ksenia Ivanchuk (50 kg) and Olga Mukhina (70 kg) beat all opposition. A few more of our students placed. Ksenia Ivanchuk and Anatoly Zaporozhsky fulfilled the necessary standard to achieve National Master of Sports status, with Tatyana Bragina, achieving Candidate level in the National Master of Sports program.
