Student Dentist Conference

17 papers were presented to the conference on a range of subjects including the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of dental diseases, and there were guests from Kazakhstan and Belarus. Some reps from the producers of dental products were also present to talk about new products. The delegates voted a paper by Ksenia Tychina, a first-year student, to be the pick of the conference. Her work was on 'Determining and Overcoming Medical Crimes.' This gives her the honour of representing Dentists at the Medical Institute's annual conference.
