History and Philology Forum

The 3 day event involved 400 students from 15 universities across the Russian-speaking world. The proceedings got under way with an introduction from Dr Ivan Shatokhin, Deputy Director of the Pedagogical Institute, who talked about the joy of discovering new ideas, and the educational process. He noted that this Forum marked the beginning of a second decade of activity. He took the opportunity to hand out prizes to exceptional students.

The Forum covers 30 areas of study in all periods of Russian history, and the concurrent development of the language. 50 schoolchildren from Belgorod Region also got to present their first academic projects. The Forum concluded with a prizes for the best projects from each section.
