Student of the Year

Students prepare for a month for the big day, going through preliminary stages involving intellectual sports, paintball, carting and football. They have to prepare video calling cards (the funnier the better), dress snappily, and give little speeches from the stage. There is a judging panel of fellow students, and the audience get a vote as well. The winner this year was Evgeny Likhobabenko, who is studying at the Institute of Economics and Management. The two runners-up were Pavel Lesnichy and Nikolai Kochetkov. Mikhail Pomoshnikov won the title of 'Most Erudite', and Daniel Altukhov won the prize for 'Best Sportsman', and was also the 'Audience Favourite'.
