Two of Belgorod State University's leading linguists, Dr Marina Droga and Dr Daria Korobkova, attended the 'Russian Grammar: Active Processes in Language and Speech' international conference
The conference was hosted by Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University, and was organised by the Russian Academy of Sciences' Pushkin Russian Language Institute, the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, the International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature, and the Russian Society for Teachers of Russian Language and Literature. The gathering attracted linguists from countries including Russia, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, the United States, Poland, Serbia, and Estonia.
Dr Droga and Dr Korobkova gave presentations on Russian philology and Media Linguistics, and took part in a formal discussion of problems encountered while teaching Russian in schools and universities. The next conference will be held in Potsdam in Germany.
