This year's theme was 'The Legal Challenges of the Technological Revolution'. Among the notable legal minds taking part were Taliya Khabrieva, the Director of the Institute, who opened proceedings, Alexander Sergeev, President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, noted legal expert Nikolai Bondar, and Igor Drozdov, Chairman of the Skolkovo Foundation. Dr Pozharova explained that the event brought together established legal scholars and those who are just starting to take the first steps in jurisprudence. She was impressed by the variety of issues covered in the seminars, lectures and debates, from issues around judicial protection, to criminal law, ecology, and medicine.
