Regional Festival for Disabled Athletes

The festival is the highlight of the University's continuing program of engagement with the local community, and the grant is given to promote these kinds of events across the country. The festival provides a focus for social inclusion, and contributes towards improving the health of the Region's disabled. This was the last of five events in this academic year. Oleg Serdyukov, the head of Physical Education and Sport for Belgorod Region, opened the event, alongside the Director of the Botanical Gardens, Marina Evtukhova. She was there to greet the participants on behalf of the University. For one day only the Gardens were divided into activity zones, including those for archery, darts, and bowling.
