365 places are open for candidates, including 145 financially assisted places. 102 of the best applicants will be accepted on to courses involving a niche specialism. The training facilities at the University are modern, and the staff are highly experienced. The Institute is the centre of medical training in the Region, and is heavily involved in assessing and training qualified doctors practising in the Region.
