The team of the engineering “special forces” of the Institute of Engineering and Digital Technologies of the BelSU took an internship in the international summer school "Big Data Analytics Dubna-2019"
Representatives of Belgorod State University: Dmitry Veselov, Kristina Roshchupkina, Alyona Klevtsova, Roman Malyutin, Head of the Information and Robotic Systems Department, Professor Olga Ivashchuk and Associate Professor Anatoly Shamrayev, underwent an internship at the international summer school Big Data Analytics Dubna-2019.
The school’s program includes lectures by leading scientists on modern methods of big data analytics, machine learning, and development prospects for high-performance computing systems, quantum computing, and soft computing. Director of the Laboratory of High Energy Physics V. Veksler and A. Baldina, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Vladimir Kekelidze spoke about the trends and prospects for the development of the NICA megaproject. Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Ruslan Smelyansky dedicated his lecture to the development of computer networks. Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Harutyun Avetisyan defined the main directions of development of system software and described modern cybersecurity technologies.
The engineering special forces team took an active part in trainings on machine learning, parallel programming technologies on hybrid architectures, big data analytics, and solving hackathon tasks on parallel processing of streaming video using an artificial neural network apparatus.
