On the way to Olympus

More than two hundred high-school students of Belgorod and Belgorod Region took part in the Path to Olympus regional educational program. Training took place on the basis of BelSU Engineering School. The classes were conducted by the best teachers of Belgorod State University, BSTU, Belgorod State Agrarian University, Belgorod University of Cooperation and Economics.

Thanks to the educational program “Path to Olympus”, schoolchildren gained experience in solving the most complex tasks, analyzed material from past Olympiads, mastered the skills of project activities, and developed their creative abilities. Yevgenia Kovalevskaya, chief specialist of the educational activities support department at the Belgorod Region Education Department, said that the regional program “Path to Olympus” is one of the important stages in preparing talented schoolchildren for All-Russian Olympiads.

The work carried out on the implementation of the project “The Path to Olympus” gave each participant the opportunity to try their hand in almost all school subjects, to get acquainted with the principles of performing the olympiad tasks.
