Culture and education in the modern world

The conference of the 4th Research Committee of the International Sociological Association (ISA) "Culture and Education: Social Transformations and Multicultural Communications" was held at the Russian University of Peoples' Friendship (Moscow).

The event was attended by over 200 scientists from 30 countries. The conference, in addition to the Plenary Session and the Special Methodological Session devoted to publications in leading scientific journals, was conducted at the site of the Institute of Foreign Languages ​​at the RUDN University in the format of 16 specialized sections, each of which was held in English under the guidance of recognized experts.

Head of the Department of Sociology and Youth Organization, Director of the International Center for Sociological Research Inna Shapovalova took part in the section “Globalization, Neoliberalism, Social Justice and Higher Education”. The section "Religion in Modern Education: Intercultural Communication and Social Reflection" was organized and conducted by the head of the laboratory "Sociology of Religion and Culture" of the International Center for Sociological Research at Belgorod State University, Sergei Lebedev.
