The rector of Belgorod State University held a meeting at which the tasks of integrating BelSU into the ecosystem of STI were considered
The vice-rector for educational activities Alexander Mamatov, acting vice-rector for educational activities, told the members of the administration and directors of the institutes of the university about their participation in the educational workshop “Island 10-22”. Aleksey Khmyrov, Vice-Rector for Innovation and Production Activities in the Agro-Industrial Complex, Director of the Department of Educational Policy Alexander Nemtsev, Executive Director of BelSU Higher School of Management Natalya Govorukha and her deputy Maxim Semibratsky, Head of the Department of Electronic Educational Technologies Vladimir Belenko, Director of the Online Education Center Sergey Nemtsev, Director of the Center for Lean Competencies of BelSU Marina Nazarenko also took part in a conference. In their speeches, members of the university team, which took 12th place out of more than 120 teams that participated in the workshop, focused on the tasks that the higher education system faces today. This is primarily the need for training for the digital economy, which also implies the creation of an appropriate environment in the universities themselves. It is also important to develop the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the university and to form students' lean manufacturing and project management competencies. The rector of BelSU, Professor Oleg Polukhin, summing up the meeting, noted that the university will take all the best that will increase its competitiveness and the demand for its graduates in the labor market. Oleg Polukhin also emphasized that the university will improve the motivation system aimed at developing human resources and increasing the number of employees owning the most modern methods and knowledge.
