Small Intellectual Academy "Special Robotics" began its work

The social project Small Intellectual Academy “Special Robotics” of the Stary Oskol branch of Belgorod State University, prepared under the guidance of the director of the branch, honorary professor of the Belgorod State Research University Tamara Belikova, is aimed at creating an accessible educational and developing environment for children with disabilities, developing their passion and intelligence. The Small Intellectual Academy will allow not only involving “special” children in robotics, but also deciding on the choice of a profession in the future.

The branch project was supported by the Office of Social Welfare of the Administration of the Stary Oskol City District, MBU Center for Psychological, Pedagogical, Medical and Social Assistance and OGBUZ Sanatorium for Children “Nadezhda”, acting as social partners.

The project of the small intellectual academy “Special Robotics” started at the “Nadezhda” sanatorium for children, where it was presented to young patients. Children undergoing treatment and rehabilitation were able to find out how today a person interacts with smart machines, what role these inventions play in the modern world and where robotic progress is moving.
