An employee of the Center for Countering Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Belgorod Region met with students of the Belgorod State University
At the University Center for Student Initiatives "STUDIO" a meeting of freshmen of BelSU Pedagogical institute with the police was held. Law enforcement officers told students about extremism and terrorism, about the fact that criminals are actively using the Internet to propagate radical ideas. Police officers explained to students how not to fall under the influence of intruders, urging them to be vigilant when communicating with strangers, including on social networks.
Natalya Ilyenko, Deputy Dean for Social and Educational Work at the Faculty of Preschool, Primary and Special Education of BelSU Pedagogical Institute reminded students that September 3 marks the 15th anniversary of the tragic events in Beslan. She told future teachers that not only law enforcement officers, but also the teachers themselves were involved in saving the children. She drew the attention of freshmen to the role of teachers in raising children and preventing negative manifestations in the teenage environment.
