New books for BelSU library

The presentation took place at the Belgorod State Universal Scientific Library. Library staff and teachers of Belgorod State University took part in it. The books were presented to Andrei Papkov, dean of the historical and philological faculty of BelSU Pedagogical Institute. The ten-volume edition includes selected publications by Nikolai Ryzhkov. In the book, the author witnesses the events that took place in Russia for decades. Nikolai Ryzhkov, to the 90th anniversary of which this publication was dedicated, reflects on the past, present and future of the country, the tragedy of perestroika, the collapse of the great power of the USSR, the socio-political and economic development of modern Russia. A separate block in the publication is the theme of the victory of the state in the Great Patriotic War. The author pays special attention to the need for a national idea in our country.

According to experts, this is a great material for any museum, for any library. This is the history, era, and fate of people who lived in the USSR and at the turning points of Russia: the 90’s, 00’s. This is not just a reflection of history, but its deep understanding.
