The 'Russia – New Opportunities for Higher Education' tour was held over a week at the beginning of October. 19 universities were represented on a tour that took in Damascus, Latakia, Beirut, Tyre, and Batroun. More than 6,000 interested young people came to ask pertinent questions of the assembled experts. Of particular interest were our Medical, Chemistry, Biology, Economics and Management, Engineering, and International Relations courses. Our experts answered questions on all these topics, and talked about things as diverse as PhD programs and student accommodation. They were also able to catch up with graduates thinking of further vocational training, and continued study. The next step will be to screen applicants for 2020 courses
