Area Young Entrepreneur Competition

The JSC Development Corporation is sponsoring the event, and sent along some of their local executives to assist our own staff in assessing the work on show. They also ran some seminars educating young people on the sorts of things you need to know when starting out in the business world. They spoke about how to set-up technology companies, financial support for start-ups, and went on to give examples from their expertise in robotic systems and additive technologies, as well as product design. The whole project is run by Media Park LLC, and funded by the Ministry for Education and Science.

Vladislav Dubrova, Artem Bukovtsov, Maxim Dmitrusenko, and Anastasia Strizhakova won with their project ‘An Exoskeleton for the Upper Limb’. Their victory sees them through to the final in Moscow this month. Vladislav Kidanov, Elizaveta Grechishkina, Maxim Cherkasov, and Dmitry Chernov came second with their project involving monitoring farm animals using smart cameras.
