Training Top Surgeons

The competition is a feeder for the 19^th National Student Surgical Competition, which will be held in Moscow. 450 students took part, with 13 categories being assessed. Mr Ksenofontov took second prize in the 'Surgical Leader' category, with Ms Pidgora, Ms Sharavina, and Ms Ponomareva, taking second spot in 'Gynaecology'. Our University placed second overall. The skills tested included tasks on transplanting, urology, keyhole surgery, plastic surgery, microsurgery, neurosurgery, abdominal surgery, and sewing up.
