A regular meeting of the Coordinating Council for the Management of Scientific and Educational activities in the conditions of coronavirus spread prevention was held online
The meeting was held under the supervision of the NRU “BelSU” Rector, Professor Oleg Polukhin.
Vice-rector for Educational Activities Alexander Mamatov presented an analysis of Pegasus system users’ attendance, noting that on April 13 almost 23 thousand users logged into the system, which is an attendance record. The analysis also showed that on average more than 94 percent of teachers use the Pegasus system daily. Student Pegasus attendance rose to 86 percent last week. Alexander Mamatov emphasized that the Pegasus system is integrated with the university's point-rating system, therefore, the final results of student assessment should be displayed exclusively in Pegasus, although email, social networks and instant messengers can be used for communication and files exchange as well. The university Rector, Oleg Polukhin, instructed staff on ensuring comprehensive control over educational activities. During the discussion, the director of the medical institute, Vladimir Kulikovsky, emphasized that the medical institute residents are currently continuing their full-time training at healthcare facilities.
The meeting also addressed the dormitories’ work. There are more than one thousand nine hundred foreign students at the dormitories to date and according to Tatyana Nikulina, director of the Social Policy Department, all the security measures in the dormitories are strictly adhered to, students' health is monitored.
