The NRU "BelSU" issued a publication on Russian-Bulgarian cooperation at the “Belgorod Magnitka”

As reported by the professor at the Department of Constitutional and International Law of the NRU "BelSU" Institute of Law, Elena Safronova, work on the publication “History of the Russian-Bulgarian Cooperation at “Belgorod Magnitka” in Documents, Facts, and People” began at the end of 2018. Following the NRU "BelSU" delegation visit to the St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo, it was decided to embark upon a scientific and educational project that would bring together lawyers, historians, philologists, journalists and industrialists. Substantial efforts have been devoted to this task: it was necessary to study the information recorded in archival documents and in periodical press of the 70-80s and collect the memories of people involved in the events which took place half a century ago. Students who worked in the archives interviewed eyewitnesses of the events. The teams of the State Archives of the Belgorod Region, the State Archive of Contemporary History of the Belgorod Region, the Stary Oskol Museum of Local Lore and the Gubkinsky Museum of Local Lore have greatly assisted the publication preparation.
