The results of the university-wide competition “Best Foreign Student” have been summed up
The university-wide competition “The Best Foreign Student” has been held by the Center for Intercultural Communication since 2019. During the first stage, the jury evaluated the competitors’ portfolio. Among them were both foreign students with good academic, creative, sports and social work results and those students who submitted applications for participation in the competition. During the second stage, students prepared a video business card, which was posted by the organizers in the Center for Intercultural Communication official VKontakte group at https://vk.com/mk_bsu
According to the jury, Kadiri Sajid, the student of the Institute of Economics and Management and the elder of the Afghanistan community became the best foreign student. He is the chairman of the NRU “BelSU” dormitory No. 4 student council and the foreign students’ commission at the NRU “BelSU” Institute of Economics and Management, an activist of the NRU “BelSU” student union and the soloist of the “Zvezdnyj algoritm” vocal ensemble. The winner of the competition in the “Audience Award” nomination (based on Internet voting results) was the Indian community representative, Medical Institute student Dalal Ravi Kumar.
In total, 18 students from Iraq, Indonesia, India, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, China, Vietnam, El Salvador, Colombia and Armenia took part in the competition. Each participant was awarded participation certificates and diplomas of competition laureates, as well as souvenirs and gifts. The winners and competition laureates received the “World Colors 2020” student works collection as gifts.
