Two foreign students of the NRU “BelSU” became the winners of major creative competitions
Al-Kaabi Mustafa Basim, a 4th year Medical Institute student from Iraq, became the winner of the international contest of drawings and poems dedicated to A.S. Pushkin`s birthday. The competition received more than 3,500 applications from more than 16 countries and was organized by Rossotrudnichestvo and the Russian Center for Science and Culture (Alexandria).
Emil Nator, a first-year Medical Institute student from Israel was awarded a third degree diploma for participation in the essay competition “75 lines about the Victory” organized by Tver State Technical University. In total, 231 applications were received from 55 regions of the Russian Federation, as well as Kazakhstan, Israel and Switzerland.
The director of the Center for Intercultural Communication, Elena Nazarenko, noted that ensuring students` participation in different competitions is an important part of work of the Center for Intercultural Communication.
- Our main tasks are both ensuring students` competition and festival environment integration and development of students' creative potential, support and encouragement of talented youth. We are very proud of our students and rejoice in their victories and achievements, - said Elena Borisovna.
