The representatives of NRU BelSU participated in a meeting of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia with young scholars

NRU BelSU was represented by the Head of Department for Research and Academic Staff Training and Audit Irina Shumakova and the Head of Office for Students and Young Scholars Research Marianna Benyash.

The meeting discussion covered the current issues of digitalization, research popularization, international scientific communication. Special attention was given to the measures aimed to support young researchers and doctoral students. The Minister told about new programs that enable universities to attract funding for fundamental research and mega grants for young researchers. Valeriy Falkov also expressed his opinion on the emerging challenges including upgrading the image of young researchers and effective popularization of research results.

- During the conversation we covered the most important issues concerning the national science. We expect that the proposed ideas and initiatives will be realized in the close future and we will be ready to join all the crucial processes for that, Marianna Benyash commented at the end of the meeting.
