NRU BelSU was allotted 88 state-financed openings for the academic year 2020-2021

According to the Order by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russian Federation Valeriy Falkov the total number of state-financed openings for the academic year 2020-2021 amounts to 576 400 including 33 700 – extra openings for Bachelor and Specialist programs.

This year NRU BelSU has offered over 2000 state-financed openings. 76 extra openings out of 88 will be added to Bachelor and Specialist programs in 16 integrated groups of education areas that include life sciences, engineering sciences and humanitarian sciences. That means that new state-financed openings for high-demand Economics and Management education areas will be available at the university. Extra 12 state-financed places have been allotted for Medical Residency in 7 fields of study at BelSU Medical Institute. BelSU Rector Oleg Polukhin while commenting the state-financed openings allocation expressed his satisfaction with the big number of places received by the universities.
