NRU BelSU foster research contacts

The visit to Belgorod State University started with the meeting headed by the Rector. Among the participants were also the Vice Rector for Research Nikolay Repnikov, Vice Rector for Strategic Programs Andrey Peresypkin and heads of the university’s administrative divisions. Talking about the university Oleg Polukhin told about its positions in the world ratings, development perspectives and the goals faced in the near future. He underlined the interest in cooperation with researchers having great impact in the global science.

“We have set the goal to present the university in the Federal Program of Academic Strategic Leadership which will select the best national universities. We find it important for to develop the cutting-edge research primarily in line with the National Research and Education Centre “Innovative Solutions in Agribusiness”. This fact fosters us to collaborate with the world class researchers”, commented Oleg Polukhin.

Vladimir Bukhman confirmed his willingness to get participate in the biomedical research which lies in his scientific interest area. According to Aleksey Deykin also involved in the genetic construction research carried out under the Belgorod Research and Education Centre, the perspective decision could be establishing the platform for the study of a disease incidence model in the framework of REC. The two days’ visit program will assume the introduction to the Pharmacology of Living Systems Research Institute and the experimental biological clinic (vivarium) as well as conducting seminars and summing up the results of the visit.
